Visit our uncongested lakes and rent a boat, go canoeing, fishing, kayaking, or whitewater rafting. We are minutes away from many stunning hiking trails, the Vogel State Park, Chattahoochee National Forest, Meeks Park, & Brasstown Bald - the highest point in the U.S. state of Georgia. Chasing Waterfalls

The TLC song says, "don't go chasing waterfalls" but in this case it is so worth the chase when you see the waterfall views! In the local area you can find the popular Helton Creek Falls, Trahlyta Falls, and DeSoto Falls. Happy waterfall chasing!

If you are a golfing enthusiast you are in the right place as North Georgians love their golf courses. You can visit the popular and highly ranked Butternut Creek Golf Course. It is open to the public and provides an 18-hole golf course with beautiful mountains in the backdrop.
